Welcome to Fact Sentry. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Fact Sentry website, services, and applications (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms for that organization and represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Fact Sentry provides an AI Reputation Risk Management (ARRM) platform designed to monitor AI models (such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity) for hallucinations and inaccuracies regarding your brand or specified facts. The Service includes tools for defining a "Source of Truth," automated scanning, and remediation guidance.
3. Account Registration & Security
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
- Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.
- Promptly notify us if you discover or otherwise suspect any security breaches related to the Service or your account.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
4.1. Subscription Tiers
Fact Sentry offers various subscription plans (e.g., Starter, Pro, Agency). Features, scan frequencies, and brand limits vary by plan.
4.2. Billing and Payments
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your provided payment method for the recurring subscription fee.
4.3. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remains active until the end of the current billing cycle. Refunds are generally not provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by law.
5. Use of the Service
5.1. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service:
- For any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
- To violate or encourage others to violate the rights of third parties.
- To interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
- To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service.
5.2. AI Monitoring Compliance
Our monitoring is conducted via standard API access and public-facing interfaces. You agree not to use Fact Sentry to violate the Terms of Service of the AI engines we monitor.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Fact Sentry and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Fact Sentry, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
8. Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Fact Sentry does not warrant that the Service will function uninterrupted, be secure, or be available at any particular time or location.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fact Sentry is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
